• Big Blanket is a jazz-funk quartet out of western Massachusetts, playing a mix of funked-up interpretations and original improvisations aimed at tweaking your wiggle nerve. Dan Britton lays down the bottom end backed by Greg Coccoluto’s responsive and creative drum grooves. Jason Szafranski launches the blanket into flight with soaring lead and elevating rhythm guitar, while Alan Bloomgarden’s syncopated Hammond, Clavinet and Wurlitzer tones crank the BTUs from cozy down comforter to raging dumpster fire and back again.
